Leading the Big Sandy community
Mr. Nick Rose, Principal
My name is Nick Rose. I am beyond thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to join the wonderful Big Sandy community and school. This community has a proud heritage and legacy of supporting its school through the 50 years of the first Big Sandy School (1909-1959) and throughout the past 10 years in this beautiful, modern facility.
Previously, I taught in Tuscaloosa County and City Schools. Most recently, I was the assistant principal at Taylorville Primary. My wife is the librarian at Myrtlewood Elementary and we have a daughter. I am a graduate of the University of Alabama.
